Saving rivers isn’t a choice. It’s survival. Our vision is to keep rivers healthy and free while ensuring people have the water they need. We do it by protecting wild rivers, restoring damaged rivers and conserving clean water for people and nature.

I respectfully acknowledge this Sacred Land as Niibing (it is summer) on western shores of Ktichigaming, Anishinaabeg traditional homelands. It is between Animikii-Wiikwedong (Thunder Bay) of Fort William First Nation, and Gichi Onigaming (Portage) of Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa.

IndigenEYEZ est une initiative dirigée par des Autochtones qui travaille activement à créer un monde où les peuples autochtones vivent un héritage intergénérationnel de bien-être. Nous utilisons le renforcement de la communauté et la facilitation créative pour proposer des ateliers qui aident à cultiver des relations et des communautés plus saines.

En tant que Première Nation Ojibway, nous avons parcouru un long chemin depuis 1962, lorsque nous avons été créés par décret en conseil de l'Ontario et que nous avons transféré 32 acres à MacDiarmid au gouvernement fédéral pour les mettre de côté en tant que réserve pour Rocky Bay. Nous avons changé de nom pour Biinjitiwaabik Zaaging Anishinaabek (BZA) en 2006.
