Our Living Waters (OLW) drives collaboration as a nation-wide initiative uniting a network of 200+ water leaders across Canada who work toward the common theme of “all waters in Canada in good health by 2030.”

Saving rivers isn’t a choice. It’s survival. Our vision is to keep rivers healthy and free while ensuring people have the water they need. We do it by protecting wild rivers, restoring damaged rivers and conserving clean water for people and nature.

I respectfully acknowledge this Sacred Land as Niibing (it is summer) on western shores of Ktichigaming, Anishinaabeg traditional homelands. It is between Animikii-Wiikwedong (Thunder Bay) of Fort William First Nation, and Gichi Onigaming (Portage) of Grand Portage Band of Lake Superior Chippewa.

Northwatch est une ONG environnementale régionale organisations dans le nord-est de l'Ontario. Fondée en 1988, Northwatch se concentre sur les préoccupations régionales : mines, foresterie, énergie, produits toxiques. Northwatch milite pour la protection de l'environnement et soutient la participation à la prise de décision environnementale.

En tant que Première Nation Ojibway, nous avons parcouru un long chemin depuis 1962, lorsque nous avons été créés par décret en conseil de l'Ontario et que nous avons transféré 32 acres à MacDiarmid au gouvernement fédéral pour les mettre de côté en tant que réserve pour Rocky Bay. Nous avons changé de nom pour Biinjitiwaabik Zaaging Anishinaabek (BZA) en 2006.

Garde-rivière des Outaouais, un organisme de bienfaisance, est un champion et une voix collective pour le bassin versant de la rivière des Outaouais, offrant leadership et inspiration pour protéger, promouvoir et améliorer sa santé écologique et son avenir.
